Tools and Requirements Needed For This Tutorial

It is very important to have the tools and requirements that are needed for this tutorial so that you'll be able to do it successfully.

You need a personal computer PC or laptop with installed (IDM) Internet Download Manager.

You need a Strong signal internet connection on a Mobile Smartphone, Mifi, Router, or Wifi

hotspot.

Now you need to follow the instruction below

Some PS4 Connections before the Main Steps:

You need to get your PS4 connected to your internet connection via any of the following; Mobile Smartphone network, Router, Modem, WiFi, or MiFi.

Then, you need to connect the LAN cable from PS4 to the laptop or PC in use.

Now you need to navigate to your computer Network and Sharing Center.

Then, click on Change Adapter Settings.

Now Choose WiFi Network with internet access.

Now Right-click on Properties.

Then, you need to tap on the “Sharing tab” located under Internet Connection Sharing, ensure to tick ‘’Allow other Networks Users”. And select ‘’Home networking connection” which happens to be the Ethernet LAN Cable you previously connected from your PS4 to PC.

Now you have completed the first approach which involves sharing your WiFi internet access to the LAN cable in use, now when it comes to making the LAN cable you need to access the internet. 

The next stage is vital because internet access is needed in capturing the download link from Sony servers.

How to connect PlayStation 4 Console (PS4)

You need to connect to the PlayStation 4 Console and require the use of the PS4 download helper.

You need to launch the PS5 download helper installed on your laptop and ensure to take note of the IP address displaying on the PS4 software screen (write it down somewhere), and do not click anything yet!

Immediately you need to navigate to PS4 settings, Network, and set up a new connection. From there, choose “Use a LAN Cable”.

You need to navigate to the 5th tab being “Settings”.

Locate the sliding menu and choose English.

Then, you need to restart the App and the selected English language from above will take effect.

Immediately after you have restarted the app (PSX download helper).

Then, paste the link you copied from above.

Now you need to click on Generate Links

You must have completed or finished downloading the games on your laptop, and the next step to take is transferring the PS4 game downloaded to your PC back to the PS4 console device.

Following the following steps will walk you through on how to get that done.

You need to create a folder and name it the title of the PS4 game you downloaded or updated – upgraded. Immediately you need to copy and paste the PS4 game part into the folder you created earlier on.

Now, click on Folder and select the folder in which you saved your downloaded PS4 Games and then Apply the settings.
